Arsenal star Bukayo Saka was forced off with an injury during Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.ย
The England winger pulled up after striking the ball in the first half and went down clutching his right hamstring.
The 23-year-old required treatment from the medical staff before being replaced by Leandro Trossard in the 25th minute of the game.
A hamstring injury could potentially keep Saka out of action for several weeks, which would be a major blow for Arsenal as they attempt to make ground on Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Arsenal dealt Bukayo Saka injury concern against Palace
The Gunners went ahead just five minutes after kickoff at Selhurst Park when Gabriel Jesus popped up at the back post to score his first league goal since January.
The Brazilian’s opener was cancelled out by Ismaila Sarr’s equaliser five minutes later, but the former Manchester City striker found the net again moments later.
After scoring a hat-trick against Palace in the League Cup in midweek, Jesus almost had another treble before halftime. He met Gabriel Martinelli’s cross with his head, but his effort bounced off the post and onto the grateful feet of Kai Havertz, who made it 3-1.
