Arsenal and Man Utd receive Lemar transfer boost

Arsenal and Manchester United have received a boost in their interest in Thomas Lemar.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the Monaco star, while United are also keeping tabs on the midfielder.

The French League champions have so far lost Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva, and also look like losing Kylian Mbappe to big spending PSG. They have been unwilling to lose any more of their star players this summer as the look to challenge for the title once again.

However according to Le10 Sport, the Ligue 1 club have had a change of heart, and could eventually sanction Lemar’s departure.

Lemar had an impressive season for the principality club last season, scoring 14 goals and providing 17 assists in 55 appearances.

Despite Arsenal being most heavily linked to the Frenchman, Manchester United are the favourites to land the 21-year-old, priced at 13/8. Arsenal are 3/1, while Barcelona are 18/1 as they look for a replacement for World Record departee, Neymar.
