Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring the progress of RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.
The Hungarian has impressed between the sticks for the high flying Bundesliga club, conceding just 11 goals in nine games this season, helping RB Leipzig to just four points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
Arsenal are on the look out for a potential new number one, with Petr Cech approaching the end of his career, while Chelsea are also interested with the threat of Thibaut Courtois moving to Real Madrid in the summer.
Now, according to ESPN, the two Premier League clubs could be set to go head to head for the 27-year-old’s services.
Gulacsi has previous experience of living in England, spending six years at Liverpool, but failing to make a Premier League appearance for the Merseyside club.
He left Anfield in 2013 for RB Salzburg where he won two Austrian Bundesliga titles, before moving to their sister club RB Leipzig in 2015.
