Arsenal agree personal terms with Barcelona midfielder

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan according to reports.

This is according to Spanish publication El Desmarque who claim that Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for for the 30-year-old.

The Turkish international moved to the Nou Camp two years ago from Atletico Madrid, but was unable to make his debut until January 2016 due to the Catalan club’s transfer embargo.

Since his debut, Turan has struggled to force his way into the Barcelona midfield, and could now be sold to make space, and free up funds to try to close the gap on newly crowned La Liga and European Champions Real Madrid.

The player still has three years left in his current deal, meaning Barcelona will hold out for around £26million for Turan’s signature.

The player is believed to be keen on a move to the Emirates and has already provisionally agreed personal terms. Arsenal now just need to agree a fee with Barcelona.
