Arsenal have agreed a deal with Watford for the sale of Kieran Gibbs according to reports.

Sky Sports are reporting that they have agreed a fee with the Hornets for the sale of the former England international, with the player reportedly keen to work under new Watford boss, Marco Silva.

Although their report doesn’t specify the price, we believe it to be in the region of £12m, having already rejected a £10m offer from West Brom earlier in the transfer window.

The 27-year-old made just eight Premier League starts last season after losing out on his place to Nacho Monreal. His position within the side has been weakened even further following the arrival of Sead Kolasinac, who joined the club on a free transfer from Schalke this summer.

Gibbs will now finalise personal terms with Watford and complete a medical before making the shirt distance switch to Watford

Newcastle have also had an interest in the left back.
