Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has committed his future to the Reds by signing a new long-term contract today.

Scotland captain Robertson joined Liverpool from relegated Hull City for £8 million in the summer of 2017.

After initially struggling to break into Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI, he would go on to establish himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League during the second-half of last season, and soon became a fan favourite with the Anfield Faithful.

24-year-old Robertson was one of the Reds stand out performers during their run to the Champions League final last season and has been one of the key men in the Liverpool defence that has conceded a miserly 10 goals so far this campaign in 22 top flight games.

Liverpool fans will be hoping the talented Scot can maintain his superb form and help his side win their first Premier League title this season. Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit on top of the table four points clear of reigning Champions Man City.
