Alexis Sanchez has agreed to move to Manchester City this summer according to a respected journalist in Chile.
According to reports in the Chileans homeland, the forward has agreed a deal to sign for Manchester City this summer.
The 28-year-old has been at the heart of the long-running contract dispute which has left him with only 12 months left on his current deal at the Emirates.
Bayern Munich are believed to have offered the winger/striker a £350,000-a-week deal to move to the Allianz Arena, but Chilean journalist Fernando Solabarrieta has revealed that Sanchez is about to move to Manchester City.
It is the thought that the Chilean he is keen to leave the Emirates after Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Despite their failure in the league, Arsene Wenger has decided to sign a new two-year deal at the club. He does not want to lose any of his key players, and is apparently reluctant to do business with any Premier League club.
However Pep Guardiola is a keen admirer of the forward who scored 30 goals in 51 appearances this season.
It is thought that Sanchez could be sold for around £50 million, or be allowed to leave the club for free next summer on the expiry of his Arsenal contract.
