The Eredivisie leaders boast a 2-0 lead from last week’s first leg and head into the clash in fine form. Ajax have won seven straight games in the league and thrashed Heracles 4-0 at the weekend to maintain their two-point advantage over champions PSV Eindhoven.

Last week’s win over Union SG saw 16-year-old Jorthy Mokio on the scoresheet. The teenager became Ajax’s youngest-ever goalscorer in European competition in the process.

Union SG, who sit third in the Belgian Pro League, are also in good form with six straight wins in their domestic league.
