Sergio Aguero has revealed exactly where and when he will be ending his career at Manchester City.
The Argentine has won every domestic trophy on offer to him in England, with only glory on the European stage eluding him. He has recently become the club’s record goalscorer, including that goal against QPR in 2012 to secure the club’s first league title.
Despite being a modern day club legend, Aguero is already planning on the next move of his career, and claims he already knows where, and when, he will be next changing clubs:
“My contract with Manchester City will expire in 2020, then I will return to my home at Independiente,” Aguero told Fox Sports.
“I am not thinking about that now. I am focused on finishing the season well and reaching the World Cup.”
Aguero has always indicated he wishes to end his career at boyhood club Independiente in Argentina, and that seems remains the case.
His short term goals however are to help Man City secure their second, and maybe third, trophy of the season having already lifted the EFL Cup last month.
