Man City goal machine Sergio Aguero was once again in majestic form today, as the Argentine striker inspired his side to an emphatic 6-0 win over Chelsea at the Etihad.
Aguero has been making a mockery of Premier League defences since his arrival in English Football in 2011, and his brilliance earlier today not only sees his side regain top spot in the table, but it also means the 30-year-old created three different individual records.
(1) After slamming his first goal in today – a sensational long-distance strike into the top corner – Aguero became just the sixth player in the history of the Premier League to have 200 goal involvements for a single club, which sees him join a pretty elite band of legends.
200 – Sergio Agüero has become just the 6th player in PL history to register 200 goal involvements for a single club in the competition, after Wayne Rooney (Man Utd), Ryan Giggs (Man Utd), Thierry Henry (Arsenal), Frank Lampard (Chelsea) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool). (2) The boy from Buenos Aires also drew level with the legendary Alan Shearer on 11 Premier League hat-tricks, and now seems all but certain to claim the record outright.

(3) Already Man City’s all-time leading goalscorer Aguero’s treble today sees him become the player to have scored the most league goals for his club.
Sergio Aguero has now scored 159 league goals for Man City, surpassing Eric Book and Tommy Johnson to become the club's all-time top league scorer.

Look away now Chelsea fans! Ok so this isn’t actually a record, but we thought we’d stick it in just to show the kind of razor sharp form Aguero has been in so far this year.

And let’s round things off by hearing from the man himself.
Happy about the win, the hat-trick and for matching an all-times record. It's my honour and my pleasure to belong to this FC, with great companions, amazing fans, and being part of this wonderful team. C'mon, City!!! pic.twitter.com/BM17BmERe6
