Sergio Aguero scored his 100th goal at the Etihad as Premier League champions Man City hammered Watford today.
Already Man City’s all-time record goalscorer the Argentine forward continues to find the onion bag with as much regularity as ever, with his strike against the Hornets his eighth in just six Premier League outings so far this season.
In fact the only surprise was that Aguero, didn’t go on and score a record breaking 12th Premier League hat-trick, with Man City showing no mercy to an abject Watford outfit.
Aguero’s 100th strike means he now joins Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and former Manchester United talisman Wayne Rooney as the only players to have scored 100 or more Premier League goals at the same Stadium. However, Aguero does have some way to go if he is to match the 141 strikes Frenchman Henry plundered at the Gunners old ground, Highbury.
Man City are 2-0 up inside seven minutes and we have a landmark goal for Sergio Aguero…

Aguero now sits in sixth place in the list of all-time Premier League goalscorers and at just 32-years-old, and looking as razor-sharp as ever, it would take a brave man to back against him joining Rooney and Alan Shearer as the only players to score more than 200 EPL goals.
