AC Milan are set to face Bournemouth in their third UEFA Europa League fixture on Thursday, with Ruben Amorim’s side looking to maintain their winning momentum in Europe.

AC Milan arrive in England with strong momentum under Ruben Amorim and remain unbeaten in Serie A. They have won three of their previous four matches in all competitions. After losing their Europa League opener 2-0 at home to Benfica, the Italian club responded emphatically by beating Red Bull Salzburg 4-0 away on matchday two. Milan then edged Atalanta 3-2 in Serie A on Sunday, a result that lifted them to fourth place in the league table.

AC Milan team news

Amorim, though, has a major availability problem in both attack and defence after several players suffered setbacks shortly before the trip to Bournemouth.

Gonçalo Ramos will miss the game after suffering a precautionary calf strain in training. Samuel Chukwueze is also out for several weeks with a left hip injury picked up against Atalanta.

At the back, Filippo Terracciano is suspended after being sent off against Salzburg, while Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers are long-term absentees because of thigh and ankle injuries, respectively.

With his squad stretched, Amorim may turn to younger players, with teenager Francesco Camarda and Alphadjo Cisse— scorer of a hat-trick on matchday two—both candidates for prominent roles.

AC Milan predicted lineup

Possible starting XI: Maignan; Tomori, De Winter, Pavlovic; Chukwueze, Musah, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek, Cisse; Ramos
