After Ricardo Rodriguez took his AC Milan medical today at the La Madonnina Clinic, it seems that La Rossoneri are not finished with the name Rodriguez.
Repubblica reported earlier today that super-agent Jorge Mendes will fly into Milan today to talk with the club about his client James Rodriguez.
On Saturday, Marco Fassone, Milan general manager, and Massimo Mirabelli, the technical director for the club, flew to Cardiff to talk with Mendes over signing some of his players.
It is believed that Milan want to get on good terms with Jorge Mendes after declaring that they will have no further relation with Mino Raiola after the agent made Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract renewal difficult.
James Rodriguez has struggled to break into the Real Madrid side this year, managing just 11 goals this season. However, the Colombian’s ability is not to be doubted and it looks as if AC Milan have realised that.
It has been reported that Porto striker Andre Silva, another client of Mendes’, could be mentioned in the meeting. Milan are interested in the Portuguese forward but he isn’t a primary target for their front line. Milan are showing once again that they don’t plan to mess around in this summers’ transfer window.
Rodriguez has already been linked with a move to Manchester United, Arsenal and Inter Milan this summer, as a move away from Real Madrid looks increasingly likely.
