After seemingly giving up on Keita Balde Diao, AC Milan are looking towards RB Leipzig winger Emil Forsberg, according to Sky Sport Italia.
It is believed that the German side want €30m for the Swedish international, who managed an astounding 22 assists last season.
After scoring a wonderful free-kick in Sweden’s 2-1 win over France, Forsberg said this over a possible move to Milan:
“Milan are a great club. A big club, one of the largest in the world.”
It is believed that La Rossoneri have made an €18m bid for the winger but that offer does not meet Leipzig’s evaluation.
Despite not being lightning quick, the Swede’s agility allows him to win almost any in-game race. As he is a right footed left-winger he can cut in to create for others or make a chance for himself. Along with Timo Werner and Naby Keita, Forsberg was one of the biggest factors in RB Leipzig’s second place Bundesliga finish last season.
The 25-year-old, who can also play as a striker, is also being monitored by fellow Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, but Leipzig won’t sell to a direct rival.
Several teams from the Premier League are believed to be interested, including Liverpool and Arsenal.
