Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has decided against cutting short his loan spell with Aston Villa to move back to the Premier League with Wolves.

The 21-year-old England international has been in sensational for Villa in the Championship scoring 16 goals in 21 appearances.

Villa fans though were fearful the allure of playing in the Premier League would see them lose their star striker, with Wolves prepared to pay Chelsea up to £18 million to bring him to Molineux on a permanent deal, or take him on loan.

However, according to Sky Sports Chelsea are not prepared to sell the player during the transfer window and gave him the option of continuing the season at either Villa or Wolves.

Abraham has decided to stay put at Villa Park and try and fire the midlands club back to the top flight.

Dean Smith’s side currently sit in 10th place in the Championship five points off the playoffs.
