Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that Manchester United can still attract the biggest players in world football despite the club’s struggles in recent seasons.
Manchester United are believed to be readying moves for several targets ahead of the January transfer window with Solskjaer keen to continue his rebuild at the club, the Red Devils reportedly interested in signing two midfield players and a forward during the winter window.
Leicester playmaker James Maddison and RB Salzburg forward Erling Braut Haaland are two of the names to have been strongly linked with moves to Old Trafford, and while United’s fortunes on the field have faded in recent season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reckons that his side are still one of the most attractive destinations in the game.
"You cannot tell me there's a young English footballer at Leicester, no matter how well they are doing, who would turn down Manchester United. It's not going to happen."

“Agents might not to but players will do,” the Norwegian told the media on Wednesday.
“I don’t speak to too many agents. United are the biggest and best in the world and I’m sure there’s so many players in the world who want to be part of the rebuild.
“Our players and fans enjoy our football and opposition players will like to be part of it as well.”
United face Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League this evening, their qualification to the knock0out stages already secured. Solskjaer’s side currently sit top of Group L, and will secure their passage to the next round as group winners if they avoid defeat at Old Trafford.
