Watch: Jack Grealish attacked from behind by Birmingham supporter during derby

Jack Grealish was sucker-punched by a Birmingham City supporter who ran onto the pitch during the Second City Derby today.

The game was barely even ten minutes in when the so-called fan invaded the pitch area, made a beeline for the Aston Villa player and punched him in the side of the head.

Unsurprisingly a melee ensued as stewards ran onto the field to separate the attacker from the players and escort him away.

Birmingham fans cheered the guilty party off the pitch, while Jack Grealish remained remarkably calm given the circumstances.

West Midlands Police confirmed the man was later arrested, while viewers took to Twitter to express their disbelief and outrage at the incident.
