The Leeds United owner implied the blame lay at the feet of Swansea City after a deal for Daniel James could not be completed.
The winger was set to move to the Championship leaders on deadline day, but the deal fell through just minutes before the transfer window slammed shut.
Swansea reneged on the deal at the last possible moment, and will instead renew their efforts to get the 21-year-old to sign a new contract.
Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani expressed his disappointment in not being able to get the deal over the line on Twitter, writing “we did all we could… but you always need two parties to agree to make a deal.”

The club were hoping to bring James in on loan until the end of the season, before signing him permanently for £8.5 million in the summer should the Elland Road outfit earn promotion to the Premier League.
James, who has played 18 times in the Championship for the Swans this season, providing two goals and three assists, has 18 months left to run on his current contract.
