It’s been an exhilarating weekend of FA Cup football, with a number of the Premier League’s big boys being dumped out by some of the minnows, as the famed ‘magic of the FA Cup’ lives on.
Fulham and Leicester were both beaten by League Two opposition, with Claudio Ranieri’s side falling to a defeat to Oldham, while the 2016 Premier League champions were beaten by Newport.
Spurs and Man City had no such troubles, however, both racking up comfortable 7-0 wins against Tranmere and Rotherham respectively.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s heavily rotated Manchester United side edged past Championship strugglers Reading, while Arsenal enjoyed a Saturday night in Blackpool with a 3-1 win.
Elsewhere, Alvaro Morata scored twice for Chelsea while Everton only edged past League Two leaders Lincoln City to make it through to the fourth round, while league leaders Liverpool were knocked out by Wolves.
