The Football League has released its fixture list for the 2026/27 campaign with some cracking Championship clashes to open the season.
Wolves host Blackburn Rovers in the first fixture of the Championship campaign, with the fixture due to take place at Molineux on Friday August 14th.
Bolton Wanderers mark their return to the second tier with a clash against local rivals Preston North End, while there’s an all-Welsh clash between Cardiff City and Wrexham.
Elsewhere, relegated Burnley and West Ham United collide in the first round of fixtures. The latter are back in the Championship for the first time since 2011/12 after relegation from the Premier League last season.
