Real Madrid head to Real Betis in La Liga this evening knowing only a win will be enough to keep them in contention for the title.
Alvaro Arbeloa’s side have fallen nine points adrift of Barcelona in the title race, with just six games to go. Los Blancos are up against it to overhaul their eternal rivals, but will hope to put the pressure on with three points this evening.
Betis are fifth in the table, a position that could deliver Champions League football. Spain currently hold second place in UEFA’s seasonal co-efficient table and are on course for an additional place in the competition.
