Rangers and Dundee United go head-to-head in the Scottish Premiership at Ibrox on Saturday as Danny Rohl’s men keep pushing for the title.
With just a couple of matches remaining before the split, Rangers will look to overtake Hearts as the league leaders with the three points while Dundee United cannot afford to drop even a single point before the split to enter the top half of the table.

Rangers team news
Rangers head into this fixture with a mostly fit squad, although there is one new injury issue to deal with after a training-ground knock sidelined an unnamed first-team regular for around two weeks.
Derek Cornelius is available again after returning from international duty with Canada, while Andreas Skov Olsen has recovered from illness and should be in the matchday squad after missing the Aberdeen win.
Dujon Sterling remains a slight doubt as the club manages his comeback from an Achilles problem, and Bailey Rice is definitely out after undergoing surgery.
Röhl has also suggested the international break gave several key players time to recover and reset, which he believes could help Rangers in the final stretch of the title race.
Dundee United team news
Manager Jim Goodwin confirmed that veteran playmaker Johnny Russell has officially failed a late fitness test due to a calf strain, stating the match has come “too soon” for him.
The Tangerines are also without Kristijan Trapanovski, who is out for a follow-up knee ligament surgery.
Isaac Pappoe remains an absentee with a similar knee issue. There is also a late decision to be made regarding Pan Camara; Goodwin is monitoring the midfielder’s recovery after a gruelling international travel schedule with Guinea-Bissau.
Form
Rangers
Rangers are currently sitting in second position in the table with 63 points from 31 matches, three points behind league leaders Hearts, but have a better goal difference (+30) than any other team in the league. They defeated Aberdeen 4-1 in their last league outing. Rangers are also unbeaten in their last 12 head-to-head meetings with Dundee United in all competitions since 2021.
Dundee United
Dundee United are seventh in the league with 37 points from 31 matches, six points behind Falkirk in the table. They beat Celtic in their last match (2-0) and need two wins from two matches to come level in points with Falkirk and enter the top six while they also need Falkirk to lose both their remaining matches.
Predicted lineups
Rangers: Butland; Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Rommens; Raskin, Chukwuani; Aasgaard, Naderi, Moore; Chermiti
Dundee United: Brewer; Iovu, Graham, Keresztes; Stephenson, Sevelj, Agyei, Ferry; Farrugia, Ahmed; Watters
