PSG and Rennes meet at Roazhon Park on Friday evening, with the league leaders aiming to strengthen their position at the summit and the hosts hoping to get their European ambitions back on track.
Rennes are currently sixth in Ligue 1 with 31 points from 21 matches, while PSG arrive in Brittany on 51 points from the same number of games. The champions have both the most prolific attack and the stingiest defence in the division so far.
PSG arrive having won seven Ligue 1 matches in a row, a sequence that started with a 5-0 hammering of Rennes in their previous league meeting. That form has taken them back to the top of the table.
PSG team news
Luis Enrique’s side makes the trip in high spirits and with most of the squad available, although influential midfielder Fabián Ruiz is still ruled out after missing the last four fixtures because of a knee problem.
Quentin Ndjantou remains out as well following hamstring surgery in December, and academy graduate Senny Mayulu is also unavailable as he continues treatment for a calf issue.
There is a boost in defence, though, with Achraf Hakimi expected to return from suspension at right-back, which should free Warren Zaïre-Emery to shift back into his preferred role in midfield after filling in on the flank.
PSG predicted lineup
Possible PSG starting XI: Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Neves; Kvaratskhelia, Dembele, Barcola
When will the match kick off?
The match will kick off at 6pm BST on Friday, 13th February.
