Premier League clubs have not been afraid to make changes this season, with six managers having already departed the positions they held on the opening weekend.
Two have gone already this month, and they’re unlikely to be the last as pressure builds right across the league.
Here are the current frontrunners in the Premier League’s ‘Sack Race’
Scott Parker – 16/1
Any manager marooned in the relegation places is under pressure, with Scott Parker positioned fifth in the bookies’ odds.
Burnley have been by far the worst of the promotion teams, even if there’s been some encouragement by spirited showings to draw with Manchester United and Liverpool in recent weeks.
However, draws need to be turned into wins if Burnley are to escape the bottom three. There’s a whopping eight points between them and 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.
Burnley haven’t won a Premier League game since October.
Oliver Glasner – 7/1
The fact that Oliver Glasner is only the fourth-favourite here, after this week’s antics, shows you exactly the state of the Premier League pressure cooker.
Glasner decided to start a civil war with the Crystal Palace board, announcing his intent to leave and criticising the decisions to sell Eberechi Eze (summer) and Marc Guehi (January) to deplete his squad.

‘Clear-the-air talks’ have resulted in Glasner staying on until his contract expires this summer, but don’t be surprised if that isn’t the case. The increasingly prickly Palace boss might just want to escape a previously harmonious marriage that has taken a sour turn.
Arne Slot – 6/1
Football comes at you fast.
Arne Slot could do little wrong last season, stepping into the sizeable shoes of Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool before delivering an unexpected title success. Despite splashing the cash in the summer, things have been far tougher this time around.
Liverpool languish fourth and are a mammoth 14 points behind Arsenal in a meek title defence. The Reds have drawn four consecutive league games, while the availability of a certain Xabi Alonso has provided another potential problem for Slot.

Nuno Espirito Santo – 2/1
West Ham brought in Nuno Espirito Santo in September after the ill-fated tenure of Graham Potter, with the former viewed as a safe pair of hands. Nuno has had his work cut out, however, with West Ham having won just three of his 17 league games in charge.
The most recent, at Spurs this weekend, might just have given him a stay of execution.
Thomas Frank – 2/9
The odds-on favourite to be next out is Thomas Frank, with the unrest audible this weekend.
Frank was the subject of ‘sacked in the morning’ chants and boos as Spurs lost to West Ham on home soil, a result that leaves the Europa League holders 14th in the Premier League table.
