Derek Cornelius faces an extended absence, potentially out until February 2026 according to the boss. Positive update on John Souttar, though, who’s resumed partial training after a time out, although starting him right away looks doubtful.
Midfielder Nasser Djiga is away in Morocco with Burkina Faso for the Africa Cup of Nations and won’t be available. Bailey Rice and Rabbi Matondo are also set to miss out, with neither expected back before early January at the earliest.
