Kilmarnock team news
Kilmarnock face significant injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s encounter at BBSP Stadium Rugby Park. Forward Djenairo Daniels remains ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a serious knee injury while on international duty with Suriname.
The Ayrshire side are also without Kyle Magennis (knee), Jamie Brandon, winger Matty Kennedy (hip) and goalkeeper Max Stryjek, who is sidelined following recent heart surgery.
Rangers team news
Rangers boss Danny Röhl continues to manage an extensive injury list going into the trip to Kilmarnock. Centre-back John Souttar, defender Derek Cornelius and forward Mikey Moore all picked up muscle issues around the last international break, with Souttar not expected to be fully ready until around the Old Firm derby against Celtic in the New Year.
Attacker Oliver Antman has been ruled out for around two months with a leg/adductor problem, while young midfielder Bailey Rice faces a longer spell out after a muscle injury that requires surgery. Kieran Dowell and Rabbi Matondo, both are sidelined for this match as well.
Form
Kilmarnock: LLLDD
Kilmarnock are winless in their last eight league games. After losing six games continuously, they drew their last two matches with the most recent being 1-1 draw against league leader Hearts.
The main concern for Kilmarnock remains turning improved performances into wins, with chances often falling to waste and individual errors undermining spells of control. Kettlewell has spoken of a “feelgood factor slowly returning” around the club, pointing to the backing at Rugby Park and the increased competition for places in forward areas as reasons for optimism heading into this home test.

Rangers: WWDDD
Rangers arrive in Kilmarnock unbeaten in their last three league matches but frustrated by a run of draws that has slowed their attempts to close the gap at the top.
Röhl’s men drew 2-2 with Dundee United in midweek, needing Bajrami’s late spot‑kick to rescue a point after once again failing to make dominance count in front of goal. Underlying numbers from that game showed Rangers generating a very high expected goals figure and 30‑plus attempts, yet a lack of composure in the box and defensive lapses continue to cost them.
Predicted lineups
Kilmarnock: Oluwayemi; Brown, Mayo, Deas; Brown, Thomson, Anderson, Thompson; Lyons, John-Jules, Kiltie
Rangers: Butland; Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Meghoma; Raskin, Barron; Gassama, Diomande, Bajrami; Miovski
