Nottingham Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White hailed a ‘massive win’ after his side beat Leeds United at the City Ground.
Sena Dyche secured his first league win in charge as Forest recovered from a goal down to take the points. Lukas Nmecha had fired Leeds ahead with an arrowed finish into the bottom corner, but the hosts levelled just two minutes later through Ibrahim Sangare.
Omari Hutchinson’s introduction from the bench helped turn the game in Forest’s favour. The winger’s cross was met by Gibbs-White to head Forest in front, before Hutchinson was brought down for a late penalty.
Elliot Anderson stepped up to confidently covert and seal an important three points for Forest, who climbed within a point of safety.

“Massive win. We went 1-0 down and it didn’t feel like we deserved that,” Gibbs-White said, speaking to Sky Sports.
“The boys defended great and we took out chances. The boys who came on helped the team. We got the three points and got it done.”
Gibbs-White hailed the cameo from Hutchinson, who has endured a tough time this season. Signed in the summer from Ipswich, the 22-year-old is yet to start a league game and was controversially omitted from the club’s Europa League squad.
“He’s been through a tough period recently. He stayed resilient and strong. He proved today why he should be in the 11.
“Delighted to get another goal but more importantly we got the win.”
