Casemiro has been recalled to the Manchester United team to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this afternoon.
The Brazil international has not made a league appearance for the Red Devils in 2025, but returns amid several absentees in Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer have all been ruled out, leading to Casemiro’s return. The 32-year-old partners Bruno Fernandes in midfield.
Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee both start for Manchester United. The latter is expected to feature in a deeper role. There’s also a start for January signing Patrick Dorgu at wing-back.
It’s an inexperienced substitute’s bench for Amorim, that includes academy prospect Harry Amass. Teenagers Ayden Heaven and Chidozie Obi-Martin are also involved after recent arrivals from Arsenal.
Manchester United travel to Spurs sat 14th in the Premier League. A win for the visitors in North London will lift Amorim’s side up to 12th in the table.
