Lyon attacker Nebil Fekir has been heavily linked with a £60 million move to Liverpool in recent days with reports in France suggesting a deal to bring him to Anfield is close to completion.
The France international has enjoyed a superb campaign, with his 18 goals and eight assists inspiring the Ligue 1 side to Champions League qualification.
However, Lyon’s president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that a deal to bring the talented playmaker to the Premier League is far from completion and that the talented playmaker may not be able to resist the temptation of playing with his boyhood club in the Champions League next season:
“We simply know that teams are interested,” said Aulas.
“His agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes has told us so.
“There have been no discussions either with Nabil or with other clubs, so it’s very premature.
“He’s also hesitating about whether he wants to play in the Champions League with Lyon.”
