The best football fixtures to watch this weekend feature the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup final, the Basque Derby, and a classic Premier League rivalry.
Here are five football fixtures you don’t want to miss.
5️⃣ spicy fixtures you must watch this weekend 🌶
PSV vs Feyenoord
The Netherlands has not seen much of a title race this season, but there’s always intrigue when two of the league’s ‘Big Three’ meet.
PSV Eindhoven are runaway leaders and a whopping 14 points clear of second-placed Feyenoord ahead of their meeting this week. The visitors will want to do all they can to stop the PSV procession to another Eredivisie title.

The European champions battle Corinthians, who stunned US outfit Gotham FC with a semi-final win, courtesy of a goal from 40-year-old captain Gabi Zanotti.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City
Tottenham have proven to be an awkward opponent for Manchester City in recent years. Pep Guardiola’s side have lost four of their last five visits to North London in the Premier League, while Spurs stunned the Citizens with a 2-0 win at the Etihad earlier this season.
Things have gone in different directions for both since that August encounter. Thomas Frank is under pressure at Spurs after a difficult league campaign, while City closed the gap on leaders Arsenal last week and remain in contention for four trophies.

Athletic Club vs Real Sociedad
Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad meet in The Basque derby this weekend. Both sides have struggled to meet expectations in La Liga this season, with Athletic in particular need of a positive result.
Ernesto Valverde’s side finished fourth last season, but languish in 13th this time around and are winless in five.
This is who we are. Always Athletic, in the good times and the bad.

Sociedad, meanwhile, have failed to find consistency. La Real, who sit eight, earned a dramatic win at Getafe last time out but have won back-to-back La Liga games just once all season.
This could go any way.

Liverpool vs Newcastle
Liverpool vs Newcastle always evokes nostalgia, with the two teams have been at the centre of some of the Premier League’s all-time classics.
This weekend’s meeting at Anfield is one of importance, as both sides bid to keep their Champions League dream alive. Liverpool are on a five-game winless run in the Premier League, but a 6-0 thrashing of Qarabag in Europe has brought back some confidence.

Newcastle, meanwhile, battled to a draw at PSG but have been woeful on the road domestically. The Magpies have won just two of their 11 away games in the league this season. Only five teams have taken less points away from home.
