Wolves willing to sell striker this month to Premier League rivals

Wolves are willing to sell Jorgen Strand Larsen this month amid interest in the forward from Premier League rivals.

Wolves fought to hold onto Strand Larsen in the summer window, rejecting multiple bids from Newcastle United.

The highest of those offers was around £55m, but Wolves are now ready to change their stance on the Norwegian’s future amid their precarious position in the Premier League.

Rob Edwards’ side are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and have won just once all season. The Midlands outfit have taken only seven points, five of which have come in their last three fixtures. Already, Wolves are 14 points from safety.

With relegation appearing imminent, Wolves are reportedly prepared to cash in on Strand Larsen.

The BBC are reporting that offers will be considered for the 25-year-old, with Nottingham Forest among those keen on a deal. Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton have previously been linked. West Ham had enquired earlier this month, but have since signed Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos.

Strand Larsen scored 14 goals in the Premier League last season during an impressive debut campaign at Molineux.

Injuries have hindered his impact in 2025-26, alongside the sale of chief creator Matheus Cunha in the summer. He has scored three times in 20 appearances this season.

The forward has started the past three games on the bench but Edwards said this week that does not necessarily mean a sale is imminent.

“I haven’t said that,” he said ahead of Wednesday’s draw at Everton.

“There will be interest in a number of our players I would have thought, especially with the position we’re in and we’ve got some really good players.

“We’re under no pressure to do anything if we don’t think it’s right for the football club. None of us want to weaken the team in this window or any window going forward. We always want to try to be in a stronger position.”
