Wolves revive interest in Manchester United defender

Manchester United’s willingness to cash in on Marcus Rojo has alerted Wolves who are keen to revive their interest in signing the Argentine defender.

Ambitious Wolves were keen on a summer move for Rojo but were rebuffed in their attempts with the player allegedly not keen on a switch to the Midlands.

Following their impressive start to life in the Premier League, the Birmingham Mail are reporting that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are confident they can persuade the 28-year-old his future lies at Molyneux and will resurrect their attempt to sign the combative defender.

Rojo is yet to feature for United this season having picked up an injury whilst representing Argentina at this summer’s World Cup in Russia.

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are widely believed to be looking to sign a new central-defender, with Rojo and teammate Eric Bailly deemed surplus to requirements.
