Willian signed for Arsenal on a free transfer from London rivals Chelsea last summer but has endured a disappointing debut campaign at the Emirates, the 32-year-old failing to replicate his previous performances since making the cross-capital switch.

The Brazilian signed a three-year deal worth £100,000-a-week upon making the move to Arsenal, but the Mail are reporting he could now leave after falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta.

Willian is understood to be attracting interest from several clubs including David Beckham’s MLS franchise Inter Miami, the US outfit having shown an interest in signing the star last summer before his move across London.

The winger has scored just one goal this season and could now follow long-term friend and teammate David Luiz out of the exit door with the veteran defender set to leave on a free transfer at the expiry of his contract.

The potential exit of the duo will form part of mass changes expected at Arsenal this summer following a disappointing first full season under Mikel Arteta, several senior names – including Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka and Bernd Leno – having been linked with an exit as part of a squad overhaul.

Arsenal are also keen to raise funds to invest with loanees Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi amongst those who could be sold, alongside forward duo Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah as both players enter the final years of their respective contracts this summer.
