The Real Madrid midfielder added another peach to his collection on Thursday night, with an early opener in his side’s Spanish Super Cup semi-final win over Atletico Madrid.
Valverde stepped up to blast home a free-kick from distance after just two minutes in Saudi Arabia, a goal that sent Los Blancos on their way to a 2-1 win.
