Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has branded Paul Pogba as disrespectful, and reckons the midfielder could leave the club for a second time.
The £89 million midfielder has been heavily criticised in recent months after producing a string of disappointing performances.
It looked for all the world that he had finally buried his problems with a man of the match performance against Man City less than two weeks ago. However his disappointing performances returned at the weekend with a poor display against the league’s bottom side, West Bromwich Albion.
Speaking to BT Sport about Pogba’s performance against the Baggies, Scholes said: “Yeah I think he could [leave].
“I don’t know, I don’t really speak to anyone at the club. But from the outside looking in it looks like the relationship [with Mourinho] isn’t great.
“When you see a performance like that from him on Sunday [against West Brom], you almost feel like he’s thought, ‘I don’t care what the manager thinks, I don’t care what he thinks of my performance today, I’m not going to listen to him, I’m just going to go out and play my game’.
“And I think that’s disrespectful towards the manager and his team-mates.”
It’s not the first time Pogba has come under fire from Scholes, who previously claimed the star “doesn’t look fit” and wasn’t justifying his £89million price-tag.
Pogba did perhaps silence some of his critics on Wednesday night, putting in a decent performance and grabbing his 10th assist in the league all season.
