The Dutchman has won nine of his first 10 games in charge, the best-ever start by a Liverpool manager. After the initial apprehension that greeted Jurgen Klopp’s exit, optimism is back around Anfield.
3. Tottenham, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (61,416)
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium might just be the most impressive ground in world football.
A state-of-the-art facility, Spurs have constructed a superb stadium that includes a retractable pitch and the largest single-tier stand in the UK, allowing fans to remain close to the action. One of the real success stories in English football as clubs modernise and move away from their traditional homes.
2. West Ham, London Stadium (62,176)
West Ham’s adoption of the London Stadium has provided the Irons with a home ground to rival the largest in the Premier League. Initially constructed for the 2012 Olympics, the ground can hold 62,500 supporters and the Hammers have come close to filling that capacity during the season’s opening weeks.
After some special nights in Europe in recent campaigns, West Ham will be hoping to bring more big games to the capital under new head coach Julen Lopetegui.
1. Manchester United, Old Trafford (73,971)
The declining conditions of The Theatre of Dreams have been well-documented, but Manchester United’s Old Trafford home remains the largest club stadium in England.
An average of 73,971 fans have packed into the ground over the opening weeks of the campaign, though will demand improvement after two defeats in three home games in 2024/25. Those losses were humbling 3-0 defeats to Liverpool and Tottenham, which have increased the pressure on Erik ten Hag’s position as manager.
