Rangers are set to face Dundee United in a Scottish Premiership clash on Wednesday, with both teams eager to secure three crucial points.
Dundee United will be hoping to snap a four-match winless streak, while Rangers look to continue their strong run under the guidance of Danny Röhl.
The Rangers side has remained unbeaten in their last four matches across all competitions and has yet to lose on the road this season in the league, recording three victories and three draws away from home.
Reflecting on his team’s progress, manager Röhl said, “I’m very positive. We have made small steps forward but of course we have had small setbacks too. If we take from the next five games again 13 points, then I think we are on a good way.”
Rangers team news
Rangers face defensive challenges with several key players sidelined, including Bailey Rice, Derek Cornelius, John Souttar, Kieran Dowell, Mikey Moore, and Rabbi Matondo. Notably, winger Oliver Antman is out for at least eight weeks due to a leg injury, further limiting Rohl’s attacking options. Speaking on Antman’s absence, Rohl remarked, “Oliver will be sidelined for a minimum of eight weeks with a muscle injury.”
At the back, Nasser Djiga and Emmanuel Fernandez are expected to continue their partnership, with full-back roles likely filled by James Tavernier and Max Aarons.
Rohl also confirmed that Dujon Sterling will be fit to play, while midfielder Youseff Chermiti will take part in a light session to assess his fitness. Joe Rothwell might also return to action following a recent injury.

Possible Rangers starting XI: Butland; Tavernier, Djiga, Fernandez, Aarons; Raskin, Barron; Antman, Aasgaard, Bajrami; Danilo.
