Youssef Chermiti could never kick a ball for Rangers again and be forever remembered after this audacious effort against Celtic this afternoon.
The 21-year-old has had a mixed time since signing for Rangers from Everton last summer but has certainly shown an ability to rise to the big occasion.
Chermiti has scored nine Scottish Premiership goals this season, a huge eight of which have come against either league leaders Hearts (4) or Celtic (4). After netting twice against Celtic in a 3-1 Old Firm win earlier in the campaign, the summer signing has been at it again.
Chermiti’s brace put Rangers in control of the derby, with his opener magnificent. The striker acrobatically met Andres Skov Olsen’s cross to flash an overhead kick past Viljami Sinisalo in the Celtic goal.

A second soon after doubled Rangers’ lead, though Celtic pulled a goal back through Kieran Tierney just before the hour. Can Rangers hold on for three precious points in the title race?
