Report: Raiola wants Real Madrid to make Pogba their highest earner

Real Madrid will have to make Paul Pogba their highest paid player, should they wish to sign the Manchester United midfielder this summer.

World Cup winner Pogba has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent weeks, and fuelled rumours of a big-money transfer by admitting “Real Madrid is a dream for anyone” during a press conference whilst on international duty last week.

The Spanish giants are set for significant investment this summer, having reappointed Zinedine Zidane as manager following a disappointing season.

Pogba is believed to be on a list of potential targets for Zidane, whilst former club Juventus have also been linked with a move to take the 26-year-old back to Turin.

According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport Pogba’s agent, Mina Raiola, will demand huge wages of £13.65m a year to sign his client.

Those wages would see Pogba become Madrid’s paid player, taking him ahead of current highest earners Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos.
