Middlesbroughs summer transfer business since their arrival back in the a Premier League has been impressive, and they could be about to add more Premier League experience to their squad.
It is claimed that they are close to agreeing a loan move for former Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo.
The Valencia striker is a target for Aitor Karanka, who is looking to add both quality and experience to his newly promoted side, having already agreed a deal to bring World Cup winner Victor Valdes into his squad.
Negredo was part of Manchester City’s title winning squad of 2013/14, and is now set to complete a loan move the Riverside.
