Sir Kenny Dalglish – 10 Best Quotes

King Kenny Dalglish should need no introduction but just in case you’re an NFL fan who’s mistakenly stumbled on this site and are very confused, here’s a quick refresher.

He played just over 200 games for Celtic scoring 112 times, he played 355 times for Liverpool scoring 118 times and racked up 102 caps for Scotland with 30 goals which made him his country’s most capped player and all-time top scorer.

As a player he won it all, numerous domestic league and cup titles on both sides of the border and three European cups. As a manager, he wasn’t bad either, leading his beloved Liverpool to three league titles, two FA Cups and a league cup title when he returned for a second stint as manager in 2012. He’s also one of the few managers to have won the Premier League, and he did that with Blackburn Rovers.

A living legend of the game who is as loved for his exploits on the field as much as his connection with the Liverpool fans post-Hillsborough. He has never been one to keep his thoughts to himself and we’ve collected 10 of his best quotes for you to enjoy.
