Inter Milan have been linked with making a move for Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.
Reports at TuttoMercatoWeb.Com have linked the Nigerian with a summer departure from Stamford Bridge, despite enjoying a renaissance under Guus Hiddink last season.
He made 33 appearances for the club last season, with Hiddink describing the defensive midfielder as “ideal”. However the 29-year old, could be about to fall down the pecking order once again at Chelsea with the arrival of Antonio Conte.
The Italian is targeting deals for a number of midfielders this summer, including N’Golo Kante, Radja Nainggolan and Andre Gomes meaning that Mikel’s opportunities could be limited.
Inter Milan are believed to be interested, with a £5million offer in the pipeline.
