Ladies and gentlemen, we might just have witnessed the Premier League Goal of the Season.
Harrison Reed does not score many goals, and the Fulham midfielder might never have scored a better one than this. On as a substitute during Fulham’s clash with Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, Reed rifled in an outrageous equaliser to earn his side a point at Craven Cottage.
Liverpool looked to have won it when Cody Gakpo put the Reds ahead in the 94th minute, only for Reed’s response just moments later to deflate the visitors.
Incredibly, Reed ended the game with just two touches, one to set himself, and another to blast home this beauty.
It will take a special, special goal to beat the 30-year-old to the end-of-season accolade.
Utterly unsaveable.
“That is EXTRAORDINARY!”
