Crystal Palace are braced for summer transfer interest in Maxence Lacroix with four clubs chasing the centre-back.
Lacroix has impressed since arriving at Crystal Palace from Wolfsburg for a fee in an £18m deal in 2024. The 25-year-old helped the Eagles to a maiden major trophy last season, lifting the FA Cup, and Community Shield success in August.
His performances earned Lacroix a first-ever call-up to the France national team this month with the defender making his debut as a substitute against Brazil last week. He then featured from the start as France beat Colombia 3-1 on Sunday.
Several sides are now contemplating an offer, with TEAMtalk reporting that three Premier League rivals are among his suitors.
Liverpool have placed Lacroix on their centre-back shortlist, with compatriot Ibrahima Konate’s Anfield future uncertain. Konate’s contract expires at the end of the season and Lacroix has been listed as a potential replacement
Chelsea and Aston Villa also like Lacroix, who is viewed as a Premier League proven option to improve their defensive stocks.
Bayern Munich are also considering a bid to bring Lacroix back to the Bundesliga. The defender is seen as a successor to Kim min-Jae, who has been tipped to leave in the summer.
