Brentford boss Keith Andrews called the performance of Igor Thiago ‘sensational’ as the forward hit a hat-trick in his side’s win at Everton.
Thiago was on target three times as Brentford secured an emphatic 4-2 win at Hill Dickinson Stadium, extending his outstanding start to the campaign. The Brazilian’s debut season in West London was decimated by a knee issue, but he’s bounced back in stunning style.
Thiago has now scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season, with only Manchester City striker Erling Haaland having netted more.

The 24-year-old’s form has sparked talk about a potential inclusion with Brazil at next summer’s World Cup. Following his latest showing, Andrews said Thiago deserves ‘the accolades’.
“Strikers live and breath [goals] and get a lot of confidence from it,” the Brentford boss told BBC Sport.
“He’s played well without scoring recently. His performance today was sensational. He deserves the accolades.
“It’s about consistency. I feel the team and squad and club have taken good steps forward in the last few weeks. They have earned that, to play in this way.
“We are very respectful of each game. We just keep working hard. A real appetite to improve all the time and push each other and see where we go.
“We were excellent. Personality, conviction, energy, spirit. At a very difficult ground.”
