AS Roma welcome out-of-form Cremonese to the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side sits fourth in Serie A and will aim to solidify their top-four spot against opponents battling to stay clear of the relegation places.
AS Rom team news
The Roma boss is set to receive a boost with the likely return of two important players. Mario Hermoso and Manu Kone are both expected to be back in the squad after shaking off recent injuries.
There is still doubt, though, over Brazilian wing-back Wesley, who was forced off against Napoli with a sprained left ankle after a tackle from Amir Rrahmani. Tests showed there was no serious damage, but he will face a late assessment and could be left out with one eye on the Juventus clash on March 1st.
Paulo Dybala remains sidelined with a knee problem that has ruled him out of Roma’s last three matches.
Stephan El Shaarawy, Evan Ferguson and Artem Dovbyk are also unavailable and will miss this game.
On the positive side, January arrival Donyell Malen has hit the ground running. The Dutch striker has already scored five goals in his first five Serie A games for Roma, averaging a goal every 78 minutes.
Matias Soule is still managing a pubalgia issue, which has made it difficult for him to complete full matches since October, but he continues to offer contributions when used.
AS Roma predicted lineup
Possible AS Roma starting XI: Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Ghilardi; Celik, Cristante, Pisilli, Tsimikas; Soule, Pellegrini; Malen
When will the match kick off?
The match will kick off at 7:45pm BST on Sunday, 22nd February.
