Arsenal vs Crystal Palace – Predicted lineup and team news

League leaders Arsenal welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, aiming to continue their superb run of form.

They are currently flying high after impressive recent league and European victories. Consequently, the Gunners should be confident of securing another three points against their London rivals. Arsenal have been particularly dominant at home when leading the Premier League table. In fact, they have lost just twice in 70 such matches throughout history.

Their defence has been almost impenetrable this season. Remarkably, they faced no shots on target at all in their last two league games. Moreover, their attack benefits greatly from set-pieces. This is an area where they currently lead the league for goals scored.

Arsenal team news

Mikel Arteta is hopeful defender Gabriel will be fit for the match. Gabriel picked up a knock against Atletico Madrid midweek. William Saliba is set to partner him if he is available.

However, the manager is still without several key players. Captain Martin Ødegaard remains sidelined. Attackers Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, and Noni Madueke are also unavailable.

In midfield, Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi will likely anchor the team. Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, and Leandro Trossard are expected to support striker Viktor Gyökeres in attack. Trossard notably has an excellent record against Palace, having scored in both of his last two starts against them.

Arsenal predicted Lineup

Arsenal predicted XI: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Zubimendi, Eze; Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard.
