Arsenal will go head to head with West Ham United over the signing of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.
West Ham have been strongly linked with making a move for the forward in recent weeks, but have seen two bids rejected by the French club.
However, following a snub by Jamie Vardy last week, Arsene Wenger has entered the race for the 25-year old, who has scored 72 goals in 172 appearances for Lyon.
It is claimed that Lyon will accept a bid of around £45million for the the striker, who broke through from the clubs academy in 2010, with talks scheduled between the clubs.
