Ivory Coast boss Emerse Fae has laughed off transfer speculation around Yan Diomande and says the winger is focused on the World Cup.
Diomande was named man of the match as Ivory Coast beat Ecuador 1-0 at the World Cup on Sunday.
The 19-year-old is being coveted by some of Europe’s top teams with Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain thought to be the frontrunners.
RB Leipzig have insisted Diomande will cost €100m (£86.4m) and Fae has admitted he does not know what the future holds for the teenager.
He laughed off the transfer talk after the Ivorian’s win, insisting now is not the time to discuss Diomande’s future as the national team bid for a successful tournament.
“When we were in France, during the preparation, journalists told me he was about to sign with PSG. Here, they tell me he’s about to sign with Liverpool!
“I don’t know, but for now, he will focus on the World Cup, and then afterwards, he can think about the rest of his career.”
