Manchester United have added Fulham’s Antonee Robinson to their shortlist of potential left-back targets.
Michael Carrick wants to bring in another left-back provide competition and cover for Luke Shaw, ahead of the club’s return to the Champions League.
Shaw started all 38 league games for the Red Devils in 2025/26, but past fitness issues mean the club are keen add another option in the summer market.
Tyrell Malacia is leaving Old Trafford as a free agent after an injury-riddled period, while Patrick Dorgu is expected to continue further forward.
According to Sky Sports, Robinson is now a target, while Newcastle’s Lewis Hall continues to be monitored.
Hall is considered a top target, but Newcastle’s demands are likely to prove prohibitive. The Magpies will demand a fee far in excess of the £28m paid to sign the 21-year-old from Chelsea in 2024.
Robinson represents a more cost-effective option, at 28 and with two years to run on his deal at Fulham. The US international could be open to a move following the exit of Marco Silva at Craven Cottage.
